Protect Your Shed
Our Liability Damage Program, LDW for short, gives our customers protection and peace of mind as it protects you from liability during the term of the rental agreement should and act of God affect the building. This includes structural damage due to natural disasters such as storms with high wind, lightning, hail, tornadoes, or fire. Our LDW program does not cover items inside the storage building, and the coverage does not waive any responsibility from customer misuse.
Our LDW Program is typically more affordable than adding your storage building to your home insurance policy as the monthly cost is only 10% of your pre-tax monthly rental payment. For example, if your pre-tax monthly rental payment is $135.00 then your LDW rate is $13.50 (plus tax) per month! There is no deductible, and coverage continues as long as you make your monthly rental payment and LDW payment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE LDW COVERAGE, AND MY SHED IS DAMAGED?
If you have LDW coverage and your shed is damaged, you will be required to send photos of the damage to initiate the claims process. The damage photos can be submitted to:

We will then determine whether the building can be repaired or not. We may also send someone to inspect the damaged building. If the building can be repaired, we will repair it at no cost to you. Of course, you will be required to make rental payments as usual.
If the building is deemed a total loss, you will not be required to make any further rental payments. However, we will not repair or replace the building. We will notify you in writing that your rental agreement has been cancelled and no further payments are due. We can mail you a letter or send you an email, whichever you prefer. We will keep you informed throughout the claims process.
The LDW is not insurance; rather, it covers the cost of repair if the building can be repaired and, if the building cannot be repaired, it waives your responsibility for any future rental payments.
