Our Liability Damage Waiver (LDW) Program helps protect you from liability if your rented storage building is damaged by certain unexpected events during your rental term.
What Does LDW Cover?
LDW covers structural damage caused by events such as:
High Winds & Storms
Lightning
Hail
Tornados
Fire
Other Qualifying Acts of Nature
Our LDW Program does not cover items stored inside the building or damage resulting from customer misuse.
Affordable Protection
LDW Program coverage costs jsut 10% of your pre-tax monthly rental payment each month – often less than adding your storage building to your homeowners insurance.
EXAMPLE:
$135 monthly rental payment = $13.50/month for LDW + tax
There is no deductible, and coverage continues as long as your rental and LDW payments remain current.
What Happens If My Shed Is Damaged?
Simply submit photos of the damage to repairs@pmbrentals.com to begin the claims process. We’ll determine whether the building can be repaired or is a total loss.
- If it can be repaired, we’ll repair the building at no cost to you.
- If it’s a total loss, your rental agreement will be cancelled, and you will not owe any future rental payments.
The LDW Program is not insurance. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditiions of the Liability Damage Waiver Agreement.
